Marriage Registration

Marriage Registration - Hyderabad

You will need:
Your current Address Proof – Any Govt ID Card/Govt letter/BSNL Landline Bill showing your current address would suffice
Copy of Your Date of Birth Proof
Copy of Your Wife’s Date of Birth Proof
Copy of Your ID Proof—Govt issued ID such as Voter ID, PAN Card, Driving License, Passport etc..
Copy of Your Wife’s identity proof(Not asked for, but just in case, if they ask)
3 Witnesses
3 marriage photos
Your Original wedding Card
3 Passport size photos of both of you
If your marriage was happened more than a year ago, you might need to fill additional form.
 Procedure:
 You need to personally visit to Registrar office with your wife and 3 witnesses . Registrar office is located in Kukatapally.

Buy the Marriage Registration form, Court Fee Stamp available there(cost 12 rupees).

Fill the form, affix all the documents needed and submit the same to the Marriage registration section over there


 They will ask both of you and witnesses to sign on the registration book.

Charge for registration is RS 15/-
 
After this,  they will ask you to come to office again on some other day to collect the certificate

Directions:
1)      From JNTU Drive towards BalaNagar/ Secunderabad /Moosapet.
2)      You will find a major Y road intersection . 
3)      Take Left over there and drive for around 50 mtrs.
4)      Take immediate left turn after the Y junction
5)      On Right side you will see College named “Narayana”
6)      Beside this college you will find the Registrar office.

  2. I heard that no other documents are required, but it would be helpful if you have the Marriage certificate provided by the Function Hall in the place where the marriage was happened.

  3. We want to conduct a court marriage. The boy can come only once for the marriage date as he is in USA. Can the girl alone submit the filled in form that goes for the notice of 1 month? And need a contact of the office
